Dr Maja Bogataj Jančič is a frequent guest speaker at various events, such as the @Re:Source MAH – 10th International Conference on the Histories of Media Art, Science and Technology in Venice on 16 September 2023, where the programme was divided into several categories (“tracks”), such as the documentation and preservation of media art; climate change; pioneers of media art; and the history of media art in museums. On 6 October 2023, dr. Maja Bogataj Jančič participated in the seminar “Practical experiences in copyright clearance of contemporary book works“, where she specifically highlighted the issues of orphan works and out-of-print works, as well as other exceptions for libraries in the Slovene Copyright and Related Rights Act (ZASP).
